To celebrate National Inclusion Week, NFTS hosted a panel session to provoke healthy discussion and debate on the topic with guest speakers including Adil Ray OBE, Sara Bennett, Shola Amoo and Lisa Marie Russo.
Recent NFTS Directing Commercials graduate Jake Sleet has directed a promo for the School’s ‘Be Part of the Story’ campaign. The campaign demonstrates the wide range of specialist roles in film, TV and games development that NFTS courses prepare people for, and the opportunity to get hands on experience in a real production environment.

Alex Hardy graduated from the Writing and Producing Comedy Diploma and is now working as a writer for Radio 4, an Assistant Producer, as well Producing Tony Law and Friends in the Battle for Icetopia.
‘Thresholds’ by Film Studies, Programming and Curation MA student Jade Turner is next in the series of film programmes curated by finalist students from the National Film and Television School. The season comprises eight exhibition projects, which will take place between September and January 2019. They range from themed programmes and national cinema seasons to expanded cinema and online initiatives.
BAFTA winning actor, writer and comedian, Paul Whitehouse (The Fast Show; The Death of Stalin) dropped into Beaconsfield to record a voice over for graduation animation, Mother’s Ruin, directed by Frank Burgess.
Rats with Wings and Wild Cats: Breeding to Extinction, both directed and written by NFTS Directing and Producing Science and Natural History MA student Zoe Cousins, have been selected for the 2018 Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam, the largest nature festival in the Netherlands.
