Protect Yourself From Work Overload

Content Tabs

There are huge exciting changes and shifts going on in the media industry and these can also lead to additional pressures and expectations.

In order to produce the best content we need to make sure that we are bringing the best versions of ourselves to the projects and this also means that we have to make sure we have realistic expectations of our selves.

Whether you are an employer or an employee, a freelancer or a student, this session will help you know how to make best use of your talents and understand when to put the breaks on, thereby preventing any chance of overload or burn out.

This session is led by Emma Dobinson who has over 30 years of TV, film, live event and social media experience. With Producer, Line Producer and Production Manager credits across drama and factual genres, global clients have ranged from National Geographic and Discovery to Lion TV, betty TV and Windfall Films.

With a Masters in Education she has developed and executed innovative educational media programmes and has collaborated with the National Film and Television School, the London Film School, BBC Media Action, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Channel 4 and Google News Initiative, amongst others.

As a Career and Life Coach for leaders and creatives she helps professionals flourish and lead fulfilled, successful lives. With expertise in management and leadership, she takes a holistic approach, focusing on resilience, empowerment, and aligning strengths with values.

Whether in-person or online, individually or in groups, she helps clients break through barriers and make things happen.
