Providing an in-depth and hands-on learning experience of the role of a Script Editor in both development / prep and production.
Through analysing scripts, collaborative verbal discussions, and practical activities, participants will learn the fundamentals of being a Script Editor.
The 5 days will see guest speakers share their lived experiences of working in scripted development and production, as well as a session on mental health and wellbeing as a freelancer by a creative mental health and wellbeing consultant and workshop facilitator, as well as script reading and reports.
A role that can often be misunderstood, the course will delve into the exciting but challenging day-to-day of what it means to be the master of the scripts and understand the versatility of the role from production to production.
