The National Film and Television School has once again partnered with Channel 4 / 4Skills to offer 10 participants in the north of England the opportunity to attend a fantastic two-day training programme exploring the world of Podcasting.
Podcasting is fast becoming one of the most listened to and sought after forms of media. Topics are varied and cover the wide spectrum that is day to day life, topics of the day and just plain funny!
On this course you will learn about how to plan, structure, deliver and record your podcast and also learn about how to engage audiences so that people actually listen to it!
Join audio producer, John Offord to learn how to tell powerful, memorable stories through audio.
The Training Will Cover:
- What makes a good podcast
- How to develop a podcast treatment/podcast structure/ format
- How to prepare for an interview to get the best answers
- The elements of a good story
- How to produce and record a podcast
- The basics of editing a podcast
How to promote your podcast.
Who should apply:
• You must be available on the training days, Thurs 23 and Fri 24 Oct.
• You must be aged 18+ and based in North.
• There are a maximum of 10 places available
