Through a series of practical exercises, you will learn more about the camera, it’s settings and menus. Hands-on training will improve your camera operation both hand-held and on the tripod whilst exploring a range of different shooting scenarios. You will get the opportunity to create beautiful set-ups using both zoom and prime lenses whilst learning about various types of lights and lighting techniques. Two full, action-packed days will provide you with the skills and knowledge to make you a competent and confident shooter.
Most of the skills taught on this course can be applied to any camera or shooting format, however it will be particularly focussed on the industry standard Sony FX9 and Sony FX6.
The content of the course is very much dictated by the participants and we concentrate on building the skills of those involved.
Some of the topics covered include:
Camera settings and menus.
Using Prime lenses.
Working hand held on docs.
Creating good sequences for the edit.
Lighting tips and tricks.
Making the most of the ‘large sensor look’.
This course is aimed at those who have some self-shooting experience and wish to build on and develop their skills.
