The TV and film world is full of freelancing and whilst we enjoy the dynamism and high energy in this field, moving from one project to another means that we can often feel that we don’t have time to consider our own career growth.
In this session, by recognising your own capabilities and your aims you will be able to get a better idea of what direction you want to head in and how to get there.
You will get to review tools and techniques that can help you confirm your own career goals and map out that future career plan. This is the chance to take that exciting next career step!
This session is led by Emma Dobinson who has over 30 years of TV, film, live event and social media experience. With Producer, Line Producer and Production Manager credits across drama and factual genres, global clients have ranged from National Geographic and Discovery to Lion TV, betty TV and Windfall Films.
With a Masters in Education she has developed and executed innovative educational media programmes and has collaborated with the National Film and Television School, the London Film School, BBC Media Action, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Channel 4 and Google News Initiative, amongst others.
As a Career and Life Coach for leaders and creatives she helps professionals flourish and lead fulfilled, successful lives. With expertise in management and leadership, she takes a holistic approach, focusing on resilience, empowerment, and aligning strengths with values.
