Whether you’re producing your own short or assembling a debut feature, you’ll walk away with a toolkit to package, finance, shoot and deliver your film. This programme is delivered by Alessandro Farrattini, a UK-based filmmaker and Associate Producer with over a decade of experience on high-end productions and indie films alike.

Through his career, he’s worked with Oscar-nominated producer Graham Broadbent at Blueprint Pictures, as well as Netflix, Studiocanal and Sony / Marvel on the tentpole Madame Web. He currently collaborates with veteran director SJ Clarkson under her Netflix deal, and runs his own production company Curly Top Films.
Their latest BFI-funded short Toad in the Hole is on the festival circuit, with Should I Fall Behind just been picked up for distribution by the prestigious Italian company Prem1ere Films.

Alessandro has two features in development as producer with award-winning directors attached, as well as a documentary series currently in development with Netflix.

His practical, story-led approach to producing equips students with insider insight on how to build projects – and careers – that last.
