Career Mapping is a focused session designed to help entry-to-mid-level professionals create a clear, actionable plan for career progression. Through a guided professional audit exercise, you will develop a personalised roadmap to navigate your next steps with confidence.

You will leave with a structured career mapping document that can be continuously refined to aid your progression. This tool, along with the practical strategies explored, will support personal accountability and focus in order to achieve short and long-term career goals.


Course Tutor:
The session is led by Samina Kiyani, a freelance professional with over 30 years experience across TV, film, journalism, and media training. Samina has worked as a Floor Manager and First Assistant Director on popular productions including Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Big Brother, The Big Breakfast, MTV, and commercials for global brands such as Kellogg’s, Schwarzkopf, and Skittles. She also worked as a TV Producer and Broadcast Journalist on factual genres, giving her a 360-degree understanding of the industry. 

Having navigated the highs and lows of freelance life herself, Samina brings an insider’s knowledge of how to build resilience, plan your next moves to create career opportunities.
