Participants will be tasked with developing a treatment for a new project concept, presenting both an unscripted version and a drama version
Course tutor Sarah Curtis has been an independent feature film and television producer for 30 years. Her most recent project was Ten Per Cent (a UK series based on the hit French show Call My Agent) for Amazon UK. She produced Ophelia starring Daisy Ridley and Naomi Watts which premiered at the Sundance film festival. Other recent TV include The Woman in White for BBC 1, Coalition – the story of the 2010 election coalition (made for Cuba Pictures and Channel 4) which won the RTS award for Best Film and Fleming a four part series for Sky Atlantic and Ecosse Films about the wartime career of Ian Fleming. Previous film credits include box office hit Run Fat Boy Run for Material Entertainment, starring Simon Pegg and Thandie Newton and directed by David Schwimmer and Hysteria, starring Maggie Gyllenhaal, Hugh Dancy and Rupert Everett a romantic comedy about the invention of the first vibrator which premiered at Toronto and Rome Film festivals.
