Aziz Foundation Scholarships Now Available at the NFTS

The National Film and Television School (NFTS) is delighted to announce a new partnership with the Aziz Foundation, offering a range of scholarships to talented British Muslim students keen to excel in the creative industries. Founded in 2015, the Aziz Foundation is dedicated to increasing access to postgraduate education for British Muslims, empowering them to advance in their careers and make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.

Scholarships are available for a variety of one-year NFTS Diploma courses and two-year Masters at the NFTS, including but not limited to: Games Design, Visual Effects, Creative Business, Marketing, Directing and Producing Television Entertainment and Directing and Producing Science and Natural History.

As one of the world’s leading film schools, the NFTS is committed to accessibility for all students, regardless of their background or financial circumstances. Recognising its responsibility to shape the next generation of creative talent, the School strives to ensure that the creative industries reflect the full diversity of the UK. To support this mission, the NFTS provides over £1 million annually in scholarship and bursary funding to help students achieve their potential.

Through this new partnership with the Aziz Foundation, the NFTS will work closely with the foundation to bridge the gap between funding, education, and the creative industries, creating new and exciting opportunities for British Muslims to build successful careers in film, television and games.

Scholarship applications are now open for NFTS courses starting in January 2025.

When you are offered a place on an MA or Diploma course, and if you are eligible, you will be invited to apply for these scholarships.
