Over 130 Alumni Credits at the 2019 BFI London Film Festival

NFTS Alumni have over 130 credits on films screening as part of this year’s BFI London Film Festival including the European Premieres of ‘Saint Maud’ and ‘Calm with Horses’ directed by NFTS alumni Rose Glass and Nick Rowland which are competing in the Best Film and Best First Feature categories.

Hollywood Reporter names NFTS one of the top film schools in the world 2019

The Hollywood Reporter has once again named the National Film and Television School (NFTS) as one of the world’s top film schools. This is the ninth consecutive year the School has been featured in the list of the top 15 international film schools and once again, the NFTS is the only UK film school to be included.

NFTS wins top prize at CILECT Global Film School Awards 2019

The NFTS has once again won the top prize in the Animation category of the CILECT Global Film School Awards. This is the seventh time in ten years that the NFTS has taken the top prize in this category, confirming the School’s place as one of the world’s top film schools. This year, 136 film schools submitted entries globally.

National Film and Television School to Open Hub in Leeds

NFTS announces it is to open a hub in Leeds following the successful opening of NFTS Scotland, which is based in Glasgow. NFTS Leeds is part of the School’s ongoing strategy to support the growth of film and television production outside London and is supported by NFTS Platinum Partner, Channel 4 whose new HQ is to be based in the city as well as ITV, who also have a production base in the City, BFI, Screen Yorkshire and ScreenSkills.
