What do you need to know if you are producing a short film? This course is designed for those taking their first steps into short film production, as well as those looking to move into the role of producer. It focuses on the key stages of producing a short film, including development, pre-production, production, post-production, and festival strategy.
Participants will be introduced to core processes such as scheduling, budgeting, and accessing finance, and will work with industry-standard templates and documentation to support their own projects.
Over two days, award-winning producer, Jude Goldrei draws on her vast experience, allowing participants to explore the responsibilities and practicalities of the role of producer. The course is suitable for emerging filmmakers, new producers, and those considering a transition into producing.
