Have you got a short film script waiting to be made? Whether your budget is £50, £500 or £15,000, The Short Film Workshop will give you the practical and creative skills to turn your script into a film. Through an intensive two-day, in-person workshop, followed by a one-to-one feedback session, you’ll learn how to develop, plan and shoot your short film within your respective budget.
Working closely with the course leader, you’ll develop your script, visuals and production plan, tailored specifically to your project and budget.
With thanks to Creative Wales, this workshop is free and fully funded to attend.
The course is led by Sion Thomas, director of BAFTA Cymru-winning and BIFA-longlisted short film Mauled By A Dog, and co-founder of Welsh film collective SCYMRU. Sion is currently developing the feature films Pig Eyes (Film4, BFI) and Mauled By A Dog (BBC Films), alongside the television adaptation of The Glister (BBC).
