About the Tutor:

Lucy Drake is an experienced freelance financial controller who also provides consultancy, training and coaching in the film and TV industry. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant who started working as a Drama production accountant in the BBC, where she progressed to Senior Production Accountant. Lucy has worked on a number of TV dramas and films in the UK and Worldwide.


Lucy is a founding committee member of the Production Accounting Forum and co-authored their Best Practice Guide to Production Accounting website. She also develops and runs training programmes for various organisations including NFTS, The Production Guild, ScreenSkills, BBC, Netflix and various Universities.

Fees for this course are as follows:

Freelance Rate: £350
Corporate Rate: £575

As part of our work to diversify the screen industry workforce, there is reduction in fees of up to 50% made available by our partnership with the BFI for freelancers with disabilities, who are ethnically diverse or from lower socio-economic backgrounds
