It also looks at scriptwriting for film and TV and is designed specifically to help writers who are looking to move from other creative media, such as novel-writing and writing for theatre, to grasp the essentials of the writing for film and TV. Starting with concept generation, it includes guidance on writing a compelling synopsis, treatment, and other vital documents needed to effectively communicate a story to producers and stakeholders.
Also covering the structure, layout and formatting of film and TV screenplays, the course is designed to build a writer’s confidence and competence, enabling them to create original feature film and TV dramas, complete with pitch documents, scripts and support materials.
