Join us for a two-day Short Course on exploring the role of the Junior Casting Assistant. This course will give you the tools and knowledge for developing your career, working alongside award-winning leading casting director Nicci Topping. This hands-on programme includes practical exercises, including mock casting, learning paperwork and deal memos.
- You will find out what is involved in the role of the Junior Casting Assistant, the key responsibilities, challenges and routes into the industry.
- There will be practical exercises, looking at casting briefs and coming up with casting options. Including practical mock casting.
- You will learn about different forms of casting, from conventional TV/Commercials/Videogames, including the timescales and processes in place.
- There will be hands-on exercises, learning paperwork, scheduling and Deal Memos.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however it is expected that you have a good standard of written English and a passion for film & TV.
