Overview

This course is aimed at those who want to learn about editing on Adobe Premiere Pro and covers:

• Creating a project
• Importing and managing tapeless media
• Logging and viewing rushes
• Preparing to Edit
• Sequence construction
• Laying soundtracks
• Basic video effects and title creation
• Rendering
• Exporting clips and sequences

By the end of the course you will be able to cut material on Adobe Premiere Pro

About the Tutor

This course is led by Grierson award winning and BAFTA nominated editor, Riaz Meer. 

Riaz has over 20 years experience working on Feature Films, Television Drama and Documentary. He has worked on several authored documentaries on history, travel, comedy, music and the arts for BBC1, BBC2, BBC4, ITV1 and Channel Four.

Fees and funding options

Fees for this course are as follows:

Freelance Rate: £500

Corporate Rate: £995

As part of our work to diversify the screen industry workforce, there is reduction in fees of up to 50% made available by our partnership with the BFI for freelancers with disabilities, who are ethnically diverse or from lower socio-economic backgrounds

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, but you must have a passion for editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and be comfortable usign a computer for a considerable amount of time.
