NFTS and London Screen Academy Supercharge Two New Scholarships for Eligible LSA Alumni
The National Film and Television School (NFTS) and London Screen Academy (LSA) are proud to announce the launch of a brand-new scholarship programme, open exclusively to LSA alumni, designed to supercharge the next generation of storytellers.
Since its founding in 2019, LSA has opened doors for students from diverse backgrounds to pursue careers in the creative industries through high-quality practical training. NFTS has partnered with LSA to deliver masterclasses, mentoring, portfolio development support, and invaluable opportunities at our annual Graduation Showcase. Together, we’ve seen LSA students flourish, building skills, networks, and creative confidence.
Now, for the first time, this partnership takes an exciting new step: offering two full fee scholarships plus living costs for LSA alumni who would like to continue their creative journeys by undertaking a full-time NFTS Masters (MA) course, beginning in January 2026.
Each award covers the full course fee and includes £12,000 of additional funding to support living costs, removing financial barriers and ensuring that talent, creativity and drive remain the only deciding factors in shaping a career at the UK’s leading film, television and games school.
Who Can Apply?
The scholarships are only open to LSA alumni aged 18 and over who are offered a place on an NFTS full-time MA course. Awards will be means tested and based on demonstrated need. Applicants who are not selected will automatically be considered for other NFTS scholarships.

How to Apply
Once offered a place on an NFTS MA course, eligible LSA alumni will be invited to apply.
This is a milestone for both institutions and a unique opportunity for aspiring creatives to take their careers to the next level.
