Meet the very first participants on this new and transformative 12-month talent development programme!

Our final 26 participants were selected from hundreds of applicants, with each showcasing a diverse range of skills across writing, directing, producing, cinematography and editing. Find out more about them below - we are excited to see what the next 12 months brings, as they embark on bringing their projects to life at NFTS Scotland’s newest hub in Leith!

Participants

Following an extensive search for the most promising ‘on the rise’ creative talent across Scotland and the UK, our final 26 participants were selected from hundreds of applicants, with each showcasing passion for their craft and a diverse range of skills across the disciplines. We are excited to explore the innovative perspectives and contributions these filmmakers will make to the industry, both within Scotland and on the international stage. The Sean Connery Talent Lab is generously supported by a wide range of industry partners, trusts and foundations.
